Unusual semi-deciduous shrub, fast-growing, with erect quadrangular stems and opposite lanceolate dark green leaves. From late summer to the first cold, it bears striking orange tubular flowers arranged in whorls along the stems, resembling a lion’s tail. Perfect in cultivation on terraces and balconies, in capacious containers, or in the open ground in gardens with a Mediterranean flavor. It prefers sunny exposures and adapts to any type of soil.
