A semi-deciduous perennial small bush, growing up to 60cm wide with a bushy, rounded habit. Woody-based stems bear small, bright green, slightly aromatic leaves. From spring to autumn red flowers appear in clusters. It prefers locations with full sunlight in order to bloom abundantly.
