An elegant variety, a vigorous perennial grass, with fast, expansive growth. It forms dense clumps up to and beyond 1.5 m tall and nearly as wide. Long, narrow leaves with white streaks arch gracefully from slender hollow stems. From late summer, bronze-red plumes rise above the foliage, gradually turning silver and persisting through winter.
