A bushy, evergreen Mediterranean shrub, growing up to 2m tall and wider. Young stems are hairy, grey, becoming woody with age. Pale blue to lilac flowers appear mainly in spring and less so in autumn. Rustic and easy to grow plant, it needs sunny and bright positions. It adapts to any type of soil even in calcareous, poor, stony, dry and well-drained ones.
