This asparagus is also known as ‘ornamental asparagus’, it reminds a fern type of plant, due to its feathery foliage. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor locations, as it tollerates well shade and drought. Eventually its flowers develop into red spherical fruits which are toxic if ingested.
