Evergreen succulent, growing up to 80–100cm tall. Stemless, it forms clumps of long, arching, leathery blue-green leaves with characteristic white fibrous margins. From late spring through summer, tall stems bear numerous pink to coral bell-shaped flowers, highly attractive to hummingbirds.
