A fast-growing succulent, perennial and evergreen, forming a dense, carpet-like mat that spreads freely along the ground. It has numerous thin, creeping stems with small, cylindrical, fleshy, light-green leaves. In late spring, the foliage is almost hidden by bright pink, daisy-like flowers.
