Rosette shaped, it has fleshy and robust leaves with thorny apex and edges. It’s a quite common plant in the Mediterranean area and it reaches massive proportions, giving the garden a special and exotic charm. It is suitable both to coastal gardens and domestic ones. It can also be grown in pots. The flower of Agave (also known as “Immortal” or “Century Plant”) is the final stage of the plant’s life cycle, as the species is monocarpic: it blooms only once and then dies.
