A fast-growing, perennial evergreen climber reaching 2-3m in width. Thin, flexible stems bear small, dark green, shiny leaves. From April until the first frost, it produces clusters of star-shaped blue flowers. Abundant and striking against the foliage, they resemble jasmine but are scentless.
