A fast-growing evergreen climber, up to 5–6 m tall and wide, with woody stems at the base and small dark green lance-shaped leaves. In late spring to early autumn brings clusters of pink bell-shaped flowers with a purple center; varieties include “Pink” and “Variegated.”
