Small perenial shrub from the north-western Mediterranean, forming a compact cushion. Woody at the base with grey-green, tomentose, serrated leaves. From spring to late autumn, it produces dense spikes of fragrant violet flowers. It is suitable to be cultivated on terraces and balconies in large pots and containers, or in the open ground.
